Klapmutskop Byeboerdery specialise in honey production, pollination and beeswax production. It was established in 1995. The current owners bought the company in 2008 and have expanded the operation.

They currently employ 14 staff and pollinate farms as far as Ceres and Grabouw, (famous for their fruit farms.) They have around 1800 bee hives and average about 30 tons of honey harvested per year.

Klapmutskop Byeboerdery are affiliated and members of WCBA.

They also have a wax embossing machine that creates the wax sheets for bee hives.

Klapmutskop Byeboerdery work closely with Cape Honey Factory and supply honey and wax to them.
